Why Should student start early preparation for their UG studies in Abroad ??????

Under ideal conditions, the process of applying for undergraduate study in the US will begin 1-1½ years before enrollment.

For most students, this is during the winter of Grade 11. The perfect time to act for your child’s future, to send your child abroad for education is to start  right from his school to complete standardized test like SAT, SAT subject Test, Advance Placement & TOEFL/IELTS etc .

And, it’s not just SAT but a number of other factors like CGPA of grade IX to grade XII, account of
co-curricular activities, social work, etc that are considered. A long term preparation would definitely sharpen the chances to reach the best university.

Applying to US colleges and universities is a very different process than applying to Indian universities. Most applications are online and students have a fairly wide window of time during which to complete their applications. It takes time in understanding the applications requirements before starting the process of applying to US colleges and universities. Each university will set their own application deadlines and fees, as well as admissions requirements.

The following requirements are common to most US colleges and universities:
·
Electronic application – this can be from 2 to 8 pages, and seeks information about the student from biodata to family information
·         Test scores – SAT General, SAT Subject, TOEFL, and AP
·         High School information
·         Application Essays
·         Teacher’s Recommendation
·         Application fee
·         Interview – required by some competitive universities
